Hi, I'm Apollo

Undergraduate Researcher | Autonomous Systems & Deep Learning

neofetch readme

🔭 Who am I?

I am a university Computer Science undergraduate bridging the gap between low-level system architecture and applied machine learning. I specialize in software for physical hardware and RL/GANs.

  • Software Lead for an autonomous food delivery robotics fleet
  • Hobbyist ML Researcher (Mechanistic Interpretability, RL, Physics-Informed NNs)
  • Former National RoboCup Junior Champion
  • Embedded systems & rocket avionics enthusiast
  • Linux native (Arch, naturally)
  • 我喜欢学中文!(Always looking for good Chinese movie recommendations)

Current Research & Engineering Focus

  • Autonomous Food Delivery: Architecting the software stack, pathing, and sensor integration for moving robotic platforms.
  • Applied Neural Networks: Previously implemented custom NNs for predicting mass-action chemical equilibrium. Currently exploring Reinforcement Learning and GANs.
  • Mechanistic Interpretability: Exploring the black box of LLMs and AI models.
  • Computer Vision: Teaching fundamental CV concepts at university-level workshops.
  • Rocket Avionics: Researching and building control systems for two-stage rockets.

IAQ Research

My flashship research paper (IAQ) explores uses precision annelealing to achive equivalent performance as FP32 models while using up to 16x less memory. Check it out in the pinned repositories! IAQ Graph

Open-Source Week

I'm a huge believer in building in public. Here are the projects I built and released during Open Source Week:

  • Helios - Flagship: A complete virtual game console with custom Video/Audio processing and a custom 8-bit CPU.
  • Zenith Interpreter - A BASIC-inspired interpreter that runs entirely within the context window of an LLM.
  • Robot Strategy Playground - A 2v2 soccer simulation environment for autonomous robot pathing and strategy.
  • DJ-CHIP - A customizable engine for generating true 8-bit music via raw sound wave manipulation.
  • Tales Of Zenmania – A small, narrative-driven game inspired by George Orwell's 1984.

(Shoutout to my collaborator Zen for their OS-Week releases, including a Local LLM Agent and an OCR Image Indexer!)
