Quansight-Labs/setup-python@v5 references its own python-versions manifest, and there were combinations where free-threaded Python versions such as 3.14t were treated as unprovided. On the other hand, the upstream actions/setup-python@v5 officially supports free-threaded Python and can interpret the 3.13t/3.14t specification and retrieve it from actions/python-versions. |
