  • Project Name: XMerch
  • /XMerch
  • Project Description:
XMerch is a decentralized e-commerce platform designed to showcase the power of Xahau and XRPL payments for real-world use cases. It allows merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments seamlessly, reducing dependency on traditional payment gateways and their associated fees.

Project Details 🛠

  • Included Project Files (code, documentation, etc.)
  • Detailed README.md file containing:
    • Project Description
    • Instructions on How to Use the Project
    • Integration Details for Xahau Hooks

How to Use the Project 🚀

To use the project, simply visit the live pre-production URL:

https://merch-25.vercel.app/

  • The store currently only accepts real $XAH on the Xahau mainnet.
  • Pick an item (** +- 1 $XAH** + 0.03 shipping).
  • Connect XUMM (using your Xahau wallet).
  • Enter shipping details (dummy address is fine but a valid email is required for tracking).
  • Confirm the payment on your XAMAN app.

Integration with Xahau Hooks 🔗

rewardHook

  • Automatically splits 50% of the sale price into a vault.
  • The logic can track or annotate the transaction with memos/hashes.

giveawayHook (Upcoming)

  • Will randomly select a wallet from the vault’s transaction list to receive a giveaway.
  • Enhanced by logging transaction memos or hashes to identify participants.

subscriptionHook (Planned)

  • Future recurring payment model for SaaS or subscription-based purchases on Xahau.

What is protestware?

This package is a joke, parody, or includes undocumented or hidden behavior unrelated to its primary function.

Consider that consuming this package may come along with functionality unrelated to its primary purpose.

What is a typosquat?

Package name is similar to other popular packages and may not be the package you want.

Use care when consuming similarly named packages and ensure that you did not intend to consume a different package. Malicious packages often publish using similar names as existing popular packages.

Take a deeper look at the dependency

Take a moment to review the security alert above. Review the linked package source code to understand the potential risk. Ensure the package is not malicious before proceeding. If you're unsure how to proceed, reach out to your security team or ask the Socket team for help at support [AT] socket [DOT] dev.

Remove the package

If you happen to install a dependency that Socket reports as Known Malware you should immediately remove it and select a different dependency. For other alert types, you may may wish to investigate alternative packages or consider if there are other ways to mitigate the specific risk posed by the dependency.

Mark a package as acceptable risk

To ignore an alert, reply with a comment starting with @SocketSecurity ignore followed by a space separated list of ecosystem/package-name@version specifiers. e.g. @SocketSecurity ignore npm/[email protected] or ignore all packages with @SocketSecurity ignore-all
