When I installed Bludit back then, there wasn't one – at least, there wasn't a default plugin.

My Sitemap plugin generates the sitemap every time a post is saved, created, or deleted, ensuring the sitemap is always up-to-date. Additionally, the sitemap options can be configured in the backend (should blog posts included in the sitemap and/or static pages, update frequency, priority). Furthermore, a sitemap can be manually generated with a single click.

If that's all the functionality of the default plugin, then this plugin isn't necessary.
