Currently, the roadmap is in flux until Half-Life: Alyx comes out and we know the state of the shaders available in that engine. This tool will be transitioned from targeting SteamTours to targeting HLVR once released.
Current Features Being Considered:
- Functionality given to materials with proxies, specifically to re-implement moving/transforming textures, especially with UnlitTwoTexture.
- A VMF batch converter that adjusts for the problems caused by importing a VMF into the Workshop Tools (currently in experimental phase, available in the "working set" folder)
- Support for Water Textures
- When HL:A comes out, check for eye shaders and implement them
- Add a more robust error system
- Once stable, a GUI might be in order
