Summary of Changes

Hello @hxrshxz, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request enhances the robustness of the pkg/ddc/base package by introducing a dedicated suite of unit tests for the mount mode selection logic. These tests validate the parsing of mount mode strings and the accurate identification of selected modes, thereby improving the reliability and correctness of how mount modes are handled within the system.

Highlights

  • New Test File Added: A new unit test file, pkg/ddc/base/mount_mode_test.go, has been introduced to cover the functionality of mount mode selection.
  • ParseMountModeSelectorFromStr Function Tested: Comprehensive unit tests have been added for the ParseMountModeSelectorFromStr function, covering various scenarios including empty input, 'All' and 'None' keywords, single mount modes, comma-separated multiple modes, and error handling for unsupported modes.
  • MountModeSelectorSelected Function Tested: Unit tests for the MountModeSelectorSelected function ensure that the selection logic correctly identifies whether a specific mount mode is present in the selector.

Hi @hxrshxz. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a fluid-cloudnative member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Code Review

This pull request introduces comprehensive unit tests for the mount_mode.go file, specifically covering the ParseMountModeSelectorFromStr and MountModeSelectorSelected functions. The added tests significantly improve code coverage and ensure the correctness of the mount mode parsing logic. The existing test cases cover various scenarios, including empty input, 'All', 'None', single modes, and comma-separated modes, as well as error handling for unsupported modes. I've identified an opportunity to enhance the test suite further by explicitly testing the precedence of 'All' and 'None' when combined with other mount modes in the input string.
