@stuartmorgan-g / @tarrinneal This line has been failing to compile in the CI, but I cant reproduce this error locally.

Add an #include <TargetConditionals.h> above this section.
We should always have either a core import (like Foundation) or that specific import before we do target conditionals. In practice it will sometimes work without it depending on details of how Xcode handles some internal compilation details which can give the inconsistent behavior you are seeing, rather than deterministic errors, when we forget.
