GDG on Campus CVR is the official Google Developer Group chapter at CVR College of Engineering, Hyderabad. With over 1500 student members, we are a community built around learning, collaboration, and building things that matter.

We run workshops, tech talks, hackathons, and open-source initiatives throughout the year, covering areas like Cloud, Android, Web, AI/ML, IoT, and Competitive Programming. Our goal is simple: give students the space and resources to grow as developers, regardless of where they are starting from.

Workshops and Tech Talks — Hands-on sessions and expert talks across domains including web development, Android, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and more.

Hackathons — Our flagship event CodeNyx is a 36-hour national hackathon where teams go from idea to working prototype under real competitive conditions.

Open Source — We encourage students to contribute to open-source projects and build a portfolio that reflects real work.

Community and Networking — Peer mentoring, team collaboration, and connections with industry professionals through the global GDG network.

CodeNyx is our upcoming 36-hour National Hackathon, organized for developers and innovators to build impactful technology solutions. Participants compete across three rounds: a Coding Round, a PPT Round, and the final 36-hour Hackathon.
