Zcash just received its biggest upgrade ever - transparent addresses, smoother syncing, and faster balance loading. Additionally, ZEC swaps are now available via the Maya Protocol, along with multiple UI refinements throughout the app.

1. ZCASH IMPROVEMENTS

Zcash (ZEC) support has been significantly upgraded:

• Added transparent (t-address) support
• Total balance now includes both shielded + transparent
• Faster balance loading thanks to caching

Huge security upgrade for interacting with dApps.

Every WalletConnect session is now checked against a vetted whitelist of trusted apps. If the app isn’t on the list (as in spoofing attempts), you’ll get an alert before signing.

4. STELLAR DAPP CONNECT 🌐

Added support for dApp connections on Stellar – expanding WalletConnect functionality to Stellar-based apps.

5. ZCASH SDK UPDATE ⛓

The Zcash SDK was upgraded to the latest release for improved performance..

It won’t block you from sending, but it’s a helpful measure to keep you informed in case you’re unknowingly interacting with a restricted address.
