- 👋 Hi,I'm Harsha Hampapura. I am a Scientist III in the Computation and Information System Lab at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. I currently work on exploring how climate scientists can best leverage the capabilities of the Open Science Data Federation (OSDF) for data access and the Open Science Pool (OS Pool) and other computational resources. To this end, I identify and develop reference computational workflows. I also work on transforming NCAR's datasets into Analysis Ready Cloud Optimized (ARCO) formats.
- 👀 I’m broadly interested in climate dynamics and the use of machine learning to deal with various aspects of climate change.
- 🌱 I have a PhD in theoretical physics and climate dynamics from Brandeis University.
