My attempt at collecting git information during compilation and storing it in a header file called
build_info.hwhich can be used to keep track of what was used to create FastMC files. Some other useful info such as the build user/time and the FastMC file generation time is also saved. I also attempted to implement a "legacy" method so the old FastMC files can still be used.Draft PR until I do a bunch of testing.
