fix issue 167
Fixes compatibility issues introduced by a new comfy-kitchen backend.
More details in the issue discussion. Monkey patching isn't a proper fix but it works.
Tested on ComfyUI v0.9.2 to v0.11.1 with Wan2.2 and Z-Image Turbo on 3 GPU setup for a week.
