For consistency and to avoid breaking changes in the future
This is useful to distinguish fields not provided (nil) from zero values
Prevent issues on 32-bit architectures with large integers like IDs
Do not use pointers for fields that are always present in the response and for fields where it is not necessary to distinguish between null and "" (or similar)
