I'm not yet clear on where to check signatures, or where to publish. The invocation of make appears to run to completion without an error. For next steps: podman inspect --format '{{.Digest}}' zallet:latest

As a proof of concept, try swapping docker out for podman. I'd like to have reproducible builds without docker.
